  • Overview

    Provide technical assistance to the Operations department by maintaining and retrieving drilling, completion, and production data. Generate status reports and drilling schedules/task lists for weekly meetings. Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements by filing state and federal reports. Assist Operations engineers and Management on special projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Input summarized daily drilling, completion, and workover information into the WellView database as needed.
    • Input and manage jobs in SiteView as needed.
    • Gather data for, organize, and maintain the Company’s electronic well file system.
    • Gather, data and send out drilling ASAP bonus payments.
    • Assist in data gathering for preparation of drilling plans and permits. Assist in AFE preparation and AFE Master Log.
    • Gather drilling, completion and production data and problem solve as needed.
    • Send drilling, completion, workover, and production reports to partners for company operated projects as needed.
    • Generate monthly production reports for accounting out of reporting system.
    • Provide support as needed to the Operations group.

    Other Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist Drilling, Completion, and Production Engineers with special projects as needed.

    Qualifications

    Education, Skills and Experience Required

    • Experience in the oil & gas industry is not required but is a plus.
    • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
    • Strong computer software skills with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
    • Familiarity with WellView and ProCount is preferred but not required.
    • The ability to problem solve, be resourceful and self-motivated is required.

     

    Physical Requirements

    • Sitting, standing, visual and mental acuity, manual dexterity, hearing, speaking.
    • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

    Environmental Conditions

    • Primary work indoors in an office environment.
    • Travel to field locations is encouraged. At field locations, may be exposed to and must be able to drive in adverse weather conditions (snow, rain, ice, wind, cold, heat, etc.) and may be exposed to constant noise, flammable fluids, and fluids under high pressure.
