  • Overview

    The IT Helpdesk Intern will assist the IT service desk and IT vendors with technical tasks including documentation, process testing and development, and software and service desk support.


    • Track and monitor service requests to ensure timely resolution; keep customers informed of status
    • Use technical tools and knowledge to meet or exceed performance standards and expectations
    • Setting up new or replacement laptop\desktop hardware for the Corporate and remote offices.
    • Ability to own, analyze and resolve technical problems encountered by internal team members and clients
    • Maintaining positive customer service, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers while identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems


    Education, Skills and Experience Required

    • Undergraduate or Graduate student seeking a Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering degree
    • Experience working with Windows OS and Office 2016 or O365
    • Strong written and oral communication skills to interact productively and efficiently to customers, managers and remote sites.
    • Patience for a wide range of user knowledge and skills and the ability to work well under pressure

    Physical Requirements

    • Sitting, visual and mental acuity, manual dexterity, hearing, speaking
    • Ability to work at computer for long periods of time
